Many of my friend said “This is about time for you to play the good guy”
Yet, I just don’t want to lable myself with any kind of role wheather it is good guy or bad guy....
I don’t want to be easily labled as well.....
It is a joy to play all sorts of roles because I am an actor. I like this challenge and it’s a real joy.
I could feel the character in all kind of different situations.
As a man, it really leads me to grow as a person.
I am Japanese national who is an actor in China therefore I can express the heart as Japanese and I want to continue to do so.
I want to express the heart that struggled because of the culture and as Japanese in situation with reality.
I feel the same way with playing any role in any given opportunity from any country.
I was privileged to play such role recently therefore I am expressing the heart of Japanese people.
AKUTAGAWA who was the role from drama series ≪SNIPER≫, JIRO KOJIMA from ≪fei cui feng huang≫.

And the most recent, the drama we are filming right now ≪xian feng≫ IWAMOTO,
All of these character feature the struggle and wandering.
There are strong message of peace from the awful tragedy scene yet, I see the importance of expressing the struggle of the foreigner at the time in the past.
In the drama ≪xian feng≫ IWAMOTO’s last scene, I love the script of what he says. I will share it right here.
“It’s been a while....I can look up the sky without weary...that’s right, the size of the sky in China and sky in Japan has so difference....this clear blue sky.....”
In this drama≪xian feng≫ features several script of IWAMOTO as “(scripture)” .....
I will press on and endure while I have shooting tomorrow and day after tomorrow!!
